Here's something I've never shared publicly: Without AI, this newsletter wouldn't exist. Not because of technology but because of me. As someone with ADD and autism, writing emails, analyzing data, and communicating consistently felt impossible.
Then, in May 2023, everything changed.
A fellow entrepreneur shared what I now call the "master prompt" (technically a meta prompt). At first, it seemed simple - just another way to talk to AI. But it became the key that unlocked everything.
Let me explain...
Before this prompt, I'd stare at my screen, overwhelmed by the thought of responding to guest messages, investor emails, or market analyses. The cognitive load of figuring out "what to say" or "how to say it" was paralyzing.
This prompt changed that. It became my translator, my analyst, my communication bridge.
I want you to become my prompt engineer. Your goal is to help me craft the best prompt for my needs. You, ChatGPT, will use the prompt. You will use the following process:1. Your first response will be to ask me what the prompt should be about. I will provide my answer, but we must improve it through continual iterations by following the following steps.2. Based on my input, you will generate two sections: 1. Revised Prompt. Provide your rewritten prompt. It should be clear, concise, and easily understood by you. 2. Questions. Ask any relevant questions about what additional information I need to improve the prompt.3. We will continue this iterative process, with me providing additional information and you updating the prompt in the Revised Prompt section until I say we are done.Just today, during our office hours, this prompt helped one of our operators analyze 320 top listings in their market. Their property was stuck on page seven of the search results. Using the master prompt, we created an analysis system that uncovered patterns in successful listing titles.
By the following office hours, we'll see how these AI-driven changes improved their visibility.
